Rain returns to the Texas Panhandle!! Jones dogs are happy. So are Teddy and Jim Bob and this unnamed parrot. This bird does not live with the Jones family; it was visiting West Texas from the Gulf Coast.

Teddy along with Farmer Jones waited for rain. She occupied herself working on projects for the Friends of the Friona Public Library; writing a biography of Marcia Muth, memory painter; and making small headway on another novel ( working title, Half Wide). Stopped along the road near Capitan, NM to take this photo. I wonder who lived there.
